The HIRE Vets Medallion Award is the only federal award recognizing exceptional achievement in veteran employment. The HIRE Vets Medallion Award recognizes exemplary efforts in recruiting, employing, and retaining United States’ veterans.

Recipients of the 2022 HIRE Vets Medallion Awards meet rigorous employment and veteran integration assistance criteria, ranging from veteran hiring and retention to providing veteran-specific resources, leadership programming, dedicated human resources, pay compensation, and tuition assistance programs. More than 1,400 employers have earned a HIRE Vets Medallion Award since 2018.
