AT CANVAS, YOU’RE A PART OF THE COMMUNITY
One of Canvas’ core values is to maintain a family-oriented culture and community involvement. This is demonstrated often by volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club, contributing to Bikes or Bust, and events hosted by KC3.
Canvas, Inc. has been awarded a $22 million contract to provide technical and support services through the MyServiceBenefits contract under the U.S. Army HRSolutions (HRS) Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The MyServiceBenefits program provides web-based benefit and information to Service members, Families, Veterans, Retirees and Survivors for both the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force.
Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can – that’s the mission for Be The Good, Canvas’ brand new employee giving fund launched in early 2019. “We have always had a sense of responsibly to give back to our communities. It’s what Canvas is built on,” states Canvas CEO Jami Peyton. “Our employees asked for the opportunity to give back, and this fund allows them to do just that.”
Canvas, in conjunction with the Mojo Radio Show, celebrated National Gold Star Spouse Day by presenting Lori Woeber, a local Gold Star Widow and recipient of the 2nd Annual 0.5k, with a check totaling $20,000. “This check represents so much more than just money raised through an event. It represents the love and support our community has for our Military and their families,” explained Canvas’ Marketing Director Erin Bloxham Curtis.
BE THE GOOD
Canvas believes it is our duty to do all the good we can, by all the means we can, in all the ways we can.
Through our community outreach initiatives, our employees work to enrich our community.
