Canvas recognizes the Makers Class of 2026 for successfully completing a year-long leadership development program designed to strengthen business knowledge, collaboration, and leadership capability across the organization.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in structured sessions that provided deeper insight into key areas of company operations, including leadership, contracts, financial management, human capital, and company growth. The experience concluded with capstone presentations and a graduation event, where participants demonstrated how they will apply their learning to support future business objectives and operational success.
“The Makers program is an important investment in our people and in the future of our company. By building stronger leaders and expanding business knowledge across our teams, we are strengthening our ability to execute and grow,” said Gerald Burnett, Chief Operating Officer.
The Makers program plays an important role in developing strong, connected leaders across Canvas. By building cross-functional relationships and expanding understanding of how the business operates, participants are better prepared to take on new challenges and contribute to the company’s continued growth.
This year’s class demonstrated consistent engagement and commitment throughout the program, reinforcing the strength of our leadership pipeline and the value of investing in talent development. We extend special recognition to Emily Miller, named Maker of the Year, whose performance and leadership throughout the program exemplify the qualities of a developing leader at Canvas.
