Proven Success
Canvas played a key software development role in restoring and enhancing the Military Services Benefit (MSB) calculators, essential financial planning tools for service members preparing for deployment or retirement. In December 2024, the calculators were successfully returned to production after a six-month offline period.
These tools provide personalized estimates for retired pay, survivor benefits, and SCAADL by securely integrating with personnel data systems. They are available through MyArmyBenefits and MyAirForceBenefits, with public-facing versions on the Military Compensation website. Canvas continues to perform ongoing improvements and potential expansion to Navy programs such as Sailor for Life and MyNavyBenefits.
