Canvas identifies and mitigates vulnerabilities across mission-critical systems through advanced penetration testing and secure architecture design. We assess networks, embedded systems, and control frameworks to expose exploitable weaknesses and engineer zero-trust architectures that reduce attack surfaces and improve mission resilience.

RMF, A&A, and Cyber Compliance:

We manage the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle for operational and developmental systems, from requirements definition through Authority to Operate (ATO). Canvas develops accreditation artifacts, validates security controls, and supports continuous monitoring to ensure systems remain compliant while maintaining operational readiness.

Embedded Cybersecurity and System Hardening:

Canvas engineers secure-by-design solutions that protect cyber-physical systems at the hardware–software interface. Our teams harden real-time and mission-critical platforms operating across air, land, sea, space, and cyber domains, ensuring resilience against both cyber intrusion and electronic attack.

Electronic Warfare Planning and Integration:

We support EW planning and integration by developing threat models, conducting signal and waveform analysis, and integrating jammer, sensor, and detection platforms into operationally representative environments. Spectrum Operations and EW Range Test Support:

Cyber-Physical Systems Analysis and Modeling:

We conduct cross-domain modeling and simulation to assess cyber and EW impacts on mission performance. Proven Success

On the STS-3 contract with Space Systems Command, Canvas cyber personnel led the implementation of a mission-specific Risk Management Framework (RMF) approach to facilitate the launch readiness of GPS Space Vehicles (SV) 7 through 10. The team conducted comprehensive cybersecurity assessments, control validations, and documentation required for Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals in alignment with scheduled launch timelines.

Efforts focused on mitigating cyber risks across command and control systems, data pathways, and external interfaces unique to space vehicle operations. These activities ensured SV 7 met stringent cybersecurity requirements ahead of its scheduled launch in December 2024, with support for SV 8 and future vehicles ongoing. Canvas’ work directly contributes to the cybersecurity posture of national positioning, navigation, and timing infrastructure that supports warfighter operations and strategic deterrence missions.
