Canvas, Inc. has been awarded a task order to provide human resource studies and analysis support services at various Army locations worldwide.

In January 2010, the Army Contracting Command (ACC) awarded Canvas an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for a base period of one year with four one-year options with a total five-year program ceiling in excess of $1.2 billion. As a result of excellent past performance, ACC extended Canvas’ IDIQ to December 2019. Under this IDIQ, Canvas has been awarded an additional task order to maximize operational cost and fiscal solvency to ultimately ensure military families receive comprehensive health care coverage.

Through this contract, Canvas will perform a series of audits of the Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System/Defense Medical Human Resources System-internet (MEPRS/DMHRSi) reporting practices at select Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs)/Dental Activities (DENTACs) within the US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM). DMHRSi is a web-based, tri-service (Army, Navy, and Air Force), human resource management system created to standardize human resource management processes and to allow for greater accountability of medical resources throughout the military health system. Canvas will work with DMHRSi to provide data analytics capabilities to improve reporting accuracy, maximize performance metrics, and ensure the command receives maximum efficiencies.

“We are pleased to continue our support to improve the labor reporting compliance and accuracy for Medical Treatment Facilities/Dental Activities within the US Army Medical Command,” states Larry Couvillon, DMHRSi Program Manager. “This contract allows us to apply our data analytic and resource management skills to increase military readiness and outpatient workload.”

Customer satisfaction is paramount to Canvas’ core values, and this award is demonstrative of our performance. “Canvas is proud to continue to be a part of a project that ensures the care for active-duty and retired soldiers and their families, especially when we go to battle and see firsthand the sacrifices being made to keep us free,” states Canvas CEO Jami Peyton.
